Numbugs Numeracy App

'Numbugs' is a fun app designed to improve confidence and ability at mental maths. It is suitable for primary school age children (or even adults!) looking to improve their numeracy skills. Use mental maths to help Addy the Anteater save the world from the invading swarms of evil Numbugs! The game features different modes for counting, addition, subtraction, multiplication, division, and equations.

Numbugs is available for free on a range of devices, including iPad, Android devices, and Windows PC. It was developed by the Oxford-based charity Quest for Learning (formerly Reading Quest), in conjunction with RBS M&IB Graduate Programme and UCL's Computer Science Department. The initial development was funded in part by the Edina Trust in 2012-13. All proceeds (from donations and the purchase of in-game power-ups) go to Quest for Learning, to improve the literacy and numeracy skills of disadvantaged children in the UK.
